Monday I celebrated my thirtieth birthday...yes, 30! My parents contacted some good friends here at BFA about arranging a little something for this mile marking birthday. I had gone up to the office to get some supplies for my office when Sandee told me that she wanted to show me something in the kitchen. Clueless I followed her in... It was only after Sandee told me that my parents had arranged for the cake that it dawned on me that this was for my birthday! What a pleasant surprise...

Wow!Thanks Mom and Dad! It was delicious...and I shared! You brought me up well...strawberries, my favorite, were ginormous!the conspirators...Thanks Meghan, Debbie and Sandee! Another treat came a little later in the day. One by one throughout the day people would bring me a rose or tulip. Can you guess how many there were by the end of the day?? It was really fun because at lunch everytime I attempted to leave my office another flower made it's way to me by way of student or staff....and my small group also came with cupcakes. Remember how I said that the strawberries were ginormous? I put one next to the cupcake for a comparison...Who knew you could enjoy a Monday so much?!
I feel very blessed for all the love that was shown me on my birthday!
