Recently I fell prey to filling out a facebook chain email. The idea is to tell twenty-five things about yourself and then pass it on to twenty-five people. Since writing the list I have thought of more things I could add to the list, but that will be for another day (or another list). Here are twenty-five things you may or may not have known about me! Enjoy...

1. I love to travel. I have been to 23 countries and 34 states and 4 continents.

2. I have moved 22 times. Until this year, the longest I've lived somewhere is than two years (since I was seven, but I had already moved three times at that point.) I have now lived at Ziegelstrasse for three years...I'm getting ready to move again!

3. I really enjoy fire...fire places, bonfires and candles. Winter is also known as candle season. I almost always have one burning.

4. I enjoy great outdoors hiking, camping and whatnot, but not sun bathing. I don't like to just sit in the sun and bake.

5. My parents almost traded me for 2000 camels...and they say you can't put a price on love... Since them I started a collection of camels.

6. I got my drivers license within one month of starting drivers ed class. To practice starting and stopping (manual transmission) my dad made me get into the drivers' seat in the middle of Stockholm.

7. I love to cook. I love to try out new recipes. Some of my favorite recipes that I've tried out are a bit time consuming and/or labor intensive.

8. I like to eat with my hands. I have to be careful when I eat in restaurants and at other people's homes... When I'm not eating with my hands I use a fork AND knife. (I don't like to use my fork as a knife...)

9. When I like the food I'm eating I hum. You know I really enjoy what I'm eating if I sway back and forth (or if I'm standing I might shift my feet). I have no idea how I started this...

10. I am a social scrapbooker and stamper. I have recently picked up crocheting, but have been knitting for years.

11. I took two semesters of ceramics in college. I am a bit out of practice, but I really enjoy sitting at the wheel and creating something that I will be able to use.

12. I also have a collection of mugs. I especially like hand-made mugs. (thanks to mom)

13. I like to put (and drink) black coffee in those mugs.

14. I really enjoy history.

15. I also watch the extras on most movies that I watch. I sometimes put myself to sleep by watching the commentary version of the movie.

16. Because I watch the extras I also know random facts about many things.

17. I enjoy keeping up with news and current events. Yes, this means that I will also listen to talk radio too... (thanks to dad) (This is also a reason for #16)

18. I am a proud aunt of two nephews and four nieces none of whom thinks I'm an adult since I'm not married. that's ok. i don't mind being a kid!

19. I am known by my nieces as Aunt Betty. I love it!

20. I once worked 21 hours straight at Old Navy.

21. I need music to get me moving in the morning or any time of day for that matter.

22. I love having friends over for dinner and talking, playing games or a movie.

23. I really enjoy reading. I have a tall stack of books waiting to get read...

24. I love my small group girls who I'm going to really miss next year.

25. I am heading back to MN after this school year to work for a year before starting a MA program.
