"Post Tenebras Lux" ~ After Darkness, Light

Every May the high school takes a day and goes on field trips. Some groups went to a nuclear plant, an art museum, a biomass plant (use you imaginations on that one...). This year I got to go on the Bible department trip to Geneva to learn more about the Reformation. Here are just a few images from our day.

Rainy Geneva...

the class gathers to learn and take notes at the wall...in the rain

Post Tenebras Lux is Latin for "After Darkness, Light". This was written across the Monument where twelve of the leaders Reformation are remembered.

In the center of the monument stand Ferel, Calvin, Beza and Knox.
Notice how their hands are not just holding the Bibles, their hands are in the Bible.

The view we had driving six hours round trip through Switzerland...notice anything missing???

Brandon and Charity kept me company (and laughing) the whole way...
