Now before you get excited (or curious) I want to give you some background ... For the last eight months we have been without a washing machine. Pretty much anytime I had laundry to do I loaded up my hiking pack and trekked around the town of Kandern to do laundry at houses that I house sat in, friends' homes, and the dorm. It was wonderful to be able to load up the machine this morning and do a load without needing to track it everywhere first!

Something else that my roommate and I are celebrating is the installation of the internet in the Greenhouse. Until we had internet I stayed after school or came in work on the weekends to use the internet, sometimes quite late. This was difficult to juggle especially when I wanted (needed) to send off a newsletter or do correspondence. But now, as you can tell, I am actually working comfortably on my couch! Yeah!
Little known fact...I haven't lived with internet at home for four years!
